At UCOP, we believe in nurturing talent and fostering growth, both for individuals and teams. To ensure that your team reaches its full potential, we offer a range of training and developmental support services through a collaborative effort between Learning and Development and Organizational Development.

Our intake form provides a streamlined process to access these invaluable resources. By submitting the form, you open the door to tailored assistance that can empower your team to excel in their roles and achieve organizational objectives. Here’s how it works:

Submit your request

Simply fill out the intake form to consult with our expert teams. Whether you’re seeking facilitated team development activities, general consultation, HR reports, assistance with managing change or any other support, we’ve got you covered. Our areas of support include:

  • Facilitated team development activities: Facilitated activities for teams that range from icebreakers to creating team agreements. These activities are not trainings but rather guided opportunities for team meetings, retreats and events.
  • General consultation: Not sure of the specific support you need but want to discuss a situation with our teams? Submit a request with your questions, issue and/or situation to discuss options.
  • HR reports: Submit this form to request HR reports such as recruiting, STEP and general HR data.
  • Managing change: Managing change requires intentional planning and strategy to ensure a smooth process. We can assist in leading your team through a change project or organization transition by developing a strategy that focuses on the process and the people.
  • Learning and Development overview presentation: This is a 30-min presentation on Learning and Development opportunities such as one-time classes, certificates, series, cohorts, LinkedIn Learning and other resources.
  • Organizational assessment: Take your team from good to excellent! We utilize an assessment process that reviews your operations, environment, leadership and structure to identify areas of opportunities and strengths.
  • Team planning and goal setting: Planning and goal setting will focus your team’s efforts and helps paint a clear picture of where you are going, support your pursuit of excellence and ensure that all stakeholders are working toward the same goals. This planning process typically involves analyzing the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, then developing a plan of action.
  • Training request for department: Schedule a course to be delivered to your team from a list of classes which includes GROW, STEP Overview and Subtle Acts of Exclusion, amongst others. Have a specific topic in mind? Submit a request to discuss the possibility of delivering a training. (Please note that classes provided by non-UCOP facilitators may have a cost).
  • UC Learning Center: Submit this request to upload a course or add a training into the UC Learning Center (UCLC) or LinkedIn Learning.

What to expect

Once your request is received, a member of our dedicated teams will reach out to schedule a consultation meeting. This personalized approach allows us to understand your requirements thoroughly and tailor our support to address your unique challenges and goals.
