On Tuesday, June 18, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., UCOP will once again host a blood drive for the American Red Cross in Lobby 1 of the Oakland Franklin building. All employees are welcome to participate!
The U.S. is experiencing a blood shortage emergency and blood donors are urgently needed now to help ensure patients at hospitals across the country continue to receive critical medical care. It only takes about an hour to participate — and your donation could save three lives!
Appointments are highly recommended — they help us plan ahead and ensure that you can donate at a time that works with your schedule. Our blood drive is being coordinated by recent UCOP retiree Jan Kehoe. To sign up for an appointment, email her at jkehoe.blood@yahoo.com. You can also contact Carlos Arias with additional questions.
Can’t give on June 18? We will also be hosting blood drives on Oct. 1 and Dec. 17, 2024. Reserve your time in advance by emailing Jan at the address above.
