Shout-Outs for Veeresham Merugu

Veeresham Merugu, senior Oracle Cloud applications specialist, worked overnight to help colleagues resolve a tricky situation under a tight deadline.

From Alvin:
The Corporate Accounting team would like to give a Shout-Out to Veeresham Merugu. Veeresham went to great lengths to solve our Oracle FIS issue during the August period close process, including working through the night with Oracle support so that we could close the ledger on time. In addition, Veeresham continuously supports our close process every month and brings a ‘can do’ attitude when it comes to tackling our bugs and errors. We appreciate his help and are glad to have him on the team.”
From Anna:
“I would like to give a Shout-Out to Veeresham from our Financial Information Systems (FIS) team for his great work on resolving the control budgetary failures issue that impacted multiple functions in Oracle. He worked tirelessly through the night and until the early morning to ensure this was resolved. I, along with the rest of the accounts payable team at the BRC, are very thankful for his help!”
From Arun:
“I would like to give a huge Shout-Out to Veeresham for his extra efforts in resolving the escalated ‘Control Budgetary Failures’ issue in posting journals in the FIS ledger. He helped us to avert a late general ledger close for August 2024. The Budgetary Control area is a complex implementation due to the multiple systems involved, including enterprise data management, FIS Oracle Systems and the Planning and Budgeting System. I especially want to recognize Veeresham’s extra effort to resolve the issue for the long term; he worked with the Oracle support team overnight to find the solution before the close.
