The BRC Travel and Entertainment Team has announced the next Travel Talk Tuesday, which will focus on rental car expenses.

Rental cars can be part of a traveler’s business expenses and are allowed for reimbursement within the UC Travel Policy guidelines; however, there are policies that must be followed around reservations. If you have ever been confused about the steps needed to reserve a rental car for work, this session is for you!

We’ll begin with a brief presentation, followed by a live demonstration of the rental car reservation process. We’ll cover everything you need to know throughout the process, including:

• The best method for securing a reservation and the benefits of utilizing the ConnexUC system
• Vehicle classes allowed per UC Travel Policy
• Receipt requirements
• Justification requirements for higher-class vehicles
