UCPath hosts successful annual payroll directors conference

Attendees of the 2024 UC Payroll Directors Conference, which took place at UCPath on Oct. 9 and 10.
From October 10-11, UCPath hosted the annual in-person UC Payroll Directors Conference, welcoming over 60 payroll directors and leaders from across the University of California system. The event provided an invaluable opportunity for collaboration, sharing best practices and discussions on critical payroll initiatives.
Day one included a year-end update, overpayment working session and tour of March Air Force Base. Attendees capped off the day with a fun location swag swap and dinner at a local Riverside restaurant.
The second day featured a group discussion on final pay and updates on labor relations and contracts, as well as UCPath portal enhancements. It closed with remarks from Christina Saint Martin, UCPath director of production, and Jaime Espinoza, Financial Systems & Payroll Compliance team lead, as well as the passing of the ceremonial bell to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to host next year’s event. The conference proved to be a productive and engaging experience for all involved.
