Join UC Davis experts in exploring bird flu at the next UC Health grand rounds
UC Health invites UCOP staff and the UC community to attend its next virtual grand rounds: Avian Flu: An Emerging and Evolving Threat to Humans and Animals.
In this fascinating program, taking place Feb. 19 from 12 – 1 p.m. (PT), experts from the UC Davis School of Medicine and School of Veterinary Medicine will share how health professionals are navigating the current avian influenza outbreak throughout California, which is highly pathogenic (i.e., extremely severe and capable of causing significant illness or death).
A panel of animal disease experts, epidemiologists and public health professionals will discuss the current status, trends and areas of concern surrounding this important new health threat.
