Registration is open for Take Our Kids to Work Day in Oakland

Oakland registration is now open for Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTWD) 2025, which will take place on Wednesday, April 9.
Take Our Kids to Work Day is a national movement that allows students to explore career possibilities while learning more about their parent/guardian’s work and organization. Children in grades 1 through 12 are invited to participate in this exciting event!
How to register
Guardians are required to complete a registration form for each child:

Event capacity is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early to ensure your child’s place. If not already filled, registration will close on Tuesday, March 18.
What to expect
Volunteers from several departments will present a structured and interactive experience for children. Students will participate in grade-level cohorts, giving them an opportunity to make friends and explore UCOP with their peers.
Oakland location and schedule
The Oakland celebration will take place from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Sessions take place in Franklin Lobby 1 unless otherwise indicated.
