The Council of UC Staff Assemblies shares quarterly updates
The Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA)’s Winter Quarter meeting, hosted by UC Davis and UC Davis Health, took place from March 5 to March 7, 2025.
Presentations featured UC and California leaders, as well as UCOP colleagues. They included:
- Gary S. May, UC Davis Chancellor
- Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, California State Assembly Majority Leader
- Aditi Hariharan, UC Student Association President
- Caín Díaz, Associate Vice President of Budget Analysis and Planning, UC Finance
- Jason Murphy, Associate Vice President & Director, UC State Governmental Relations
- Sarah Crowe, Communications & Advocacy Manager, UC State Governmental Relations
Throughout the event, CUCSA delegates focused on policy and advocacy work around their goals of ensuring that the university recognizes the effects of staffing constraints on non-represented staff and advances efficient practices to support sustainable workloads; exercises fair, competitive and transparent compensation practices that attract, retain and motivate high-quality staff; and demonstrates a commitment to the holistic well-being of university staff.
