Mastering hybrid meetings: A two-part training series for seamless collaboration
In today’s work environment, hybrid meetings have become the norm. A new two-part training series from UCOP Learning and Development is designed to equip you with the essential tools and techniques to master both the logistics and facilitation of hybrid collaboration. Each session can stand alone. Attend one or both, in any order!
Mastering the Logistics of Hybrid Meetings
Tuesday, May 20, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (PT)
Effectively facilitating hybrid meetings can be technically challenging. Come learn how to set up hybrid meetings to fully engage both remote and in-person attendees! In this training, we will walk through how to effectively prepare and set up all technical components, including audio, camera and the use of Zoom features. This session is perfect for anyone looking to boost their confidence with the technical side of hybrid meetings.
Brainstorming and Decision-Making in Hybrid Meetings
Wednesday, May 28, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (PT)
Ensuring all team members have a voice in collaborative processes like brainstorming and decision-making is critical. Facilitating these types of collaborative meetings is especially challenging in a hybrid environment. In this workshop, we will learn protocols designed for the hybrid environment that lead to high participation and engagement, and include all voices. Participants will learn and try step-by-step protocols for productive brainstorming and decision-making in hybrid meetings. This session is ideal if you’re focused on facilitation, collaboration and ensuring all team members are heard — no matter where they are. We recommend taking “Mastering the Logistics of Hybrid Meetings” first if you are not yet confident with the technical setup of hybrid meetings.
