Oakland staff: 15 donors are still needed for next Tuesday’s blood drive
Next Tuesday, July 22, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., UCOP will once again host a blood drive for the American Red Cross in Lobby 1 of the Oakland Franklin building.
We are still seeking participants — there are currently 15 open appointments, including five for “power red” donors (an optional additional process). All employees are welcome to participate and donate however they are most comfortable.
The U.S. is experiencing a blood shortage emergency and blood donors are urgently needed now to help ensure patients at hospitals across the country continue to receive critical medical care. Donating blood only takes about an hour — and you could save three lives!
