Celebrate NRS Day with UCOP in Oakland
On Tuesday, Nov. 4, join the UC Natural Reserve System (NRS) and UCOP leadership in Oakland for a special celebration of California’s extraordinary natural landscapes. UC NRS protects 42 diverse sites across the state — from coastal dunes to mountain meadows — that serve as living laboratories for research, learning and environmental stewardship. During this event, students and researchers will share how they use UC reserves to advance science and sustainability. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, including charcuterie and hummus boards, explore interactive displays and even pick up NRS swag while connecting with colleagues and reserve staff.
