Nov. 12: Dr. Liseli Mulala

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 12 – 1 p.m. (PT), join BSFO for an engaging conversation on diabetes prevention, management and health equity featuring Liseli Mulala, Ph.D., MPH. Dr. Mulala is a pharmacist, researcher and associate clinical professor at UCSF. She leads a pharmacist-driven inpatient diabetes education program at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, empowering patients to better manage their health. Her work focuses on advancing equitable diabetes care and improving patient outcomes. Nov. 14: Dr. Nyasha Chagwedera

Dr. Nyasha Chagwedera

On Friday, Nov. 14, from 12 – 1 p.m. (PT), join BSFO’s final fall health and wellness event featuring Nyasha Chagwedera, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Chagwedera has a bachelor’s degree in human developmental and stem cell biology from Harvard University, and completed her medical degree and a doctorate in biomedical sciences and immunology at UCSF. She is currently a psychiatrist at UCSF, where she cares for patients with mental and metabolic disorders. Her research investigates the causes of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases in psychiatric patients to improve prevention and treatment.
