New Learning & Development SharePoint site: Learn, connect and grow!
The UCOP Learning and Development team is excited to share its new SharePoint site, which makes it easy to access all classes, cohorts, opportunities and professional development resources in one central location.
With this new hub, it’s easier than ever to discover relevant, high-quality learning opportunities, connect with colleagues and align your development with our organization’s goals. Whether you’re just starting in your role, looking to deepen your expertise, or considering a new direction, the L&D site supports you!
Highlights
- A comprehensive 2025-26 Catalogue, featuring upcoming training sessions, workshops and courses. You can browse by topic, date or level to find the resources that best fit your schedule and goals
- Helpful tools and guidance on how to use the UC Learning Center
- Information and resources for new employees, STEP and more
How to get started
- Visit the L&D SharePoint site
- Browse the class catalogue: See what’s upcoming and relevant to your role
- Register for the session(s) you’re interested in (instructions are on the site)
- Mark your calendar, join a session and reflect on what you learn — then share feedback so we can keep improving
- Explore other site resources, including learning tips, recommended pathways, FAQs and contact information for support
Tips for maximizing value
- Set aside dedicated time in your workweek for learning — just 30-60 minutes a week can make a difference
- Choose a topic that stretches you a little beyond your current comfort zone; growth often happens just outside the familiar
- After attending, try applying one new idea in your work soon; this helps the learning “stick”
- Share what you learn with your team or peers — teaching others is a great way to reinforce your own learning
Investing in your growth is investing in our collective success. The Learning and Development team looks forward to your use and feedback on the new site. For questions, contact ucopld@ucop.edu.
