New PDF Fix website: Make PDFs and documents accessible in just a few clicks
On the UCOP.edu website alone, more than 3,000 PDFs do not yet meet IT Accessibility requirements. If you manage some of these files, you may be wondering if they should be updated, archived or converted to a different version — and how.
This is where a new UCOP website — PDF Fix — comes in. In just a few clicks, the site can help you learn how to determine whether PDF is the right format for your accessible content, automate several remediation steps, interpret and prioritize the remaining issues in your document and find guidance for completing human review or choosing another solution.
If you work with documents and PDFs, join us for a demo and workshop on this game-changing site! During the event, we’ll help you familiarize yourself with the site, its capabilities, and how to get the most from the information it provides.
