Do I need to register for the Fair?
No; you’re welcome to drop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Can I invite my spouse/domestic partner and/or dependents?
This event is for UCOP employees only.
Can UCOP Retirees attend?
Attendance for this event is limited to UCOP staff.
Does this event have an online component?
Unfortunately, this event is for in-person attendees only.
Will you offer the flu and/or COVID vaccine at the event?
No, but we encourage you to schedule a vaccination appointment. Vaccines are widely available — contact a retail pharmacy in your medical plan’s network or your family doctor. All UC medical plans include in-network coverage for vaccinations at no cost to covered members, as long as you follow your plan’s guidelines.
Can I make Open Enrollment changes or meet with someone to discuss plan options during the fair?
No; the fair takes place before Open Enrollment begins and due to the anticipated number of participants, we are not able to offer individual benefits counseling during the event.
How can I learn more about my benefits?
Starting Oct. 24, you can explore 2025 plan changes and options on the Open Enrollment website: ucal.us/oe.
You can also visit ALEX (start.myalex.com/uc) a virtual counselor that offers customized benefits guidance on employee health and welfare benefit plans. ALEX can provide medical plan premiums specific to your personal situation, including pay band and union membership.

How do I make my 2025 benefits elections?
Open Enrollment begins at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, and runs through 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22. Enroll in your 2025 Benefits on the UCPath website.
If you have trouble making changes online, you can call the UCPath Center for assistance at (855) 982-7284, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Making changes in this way may require paper forms and additional time, so it’s a good idea to call as soon as possible.
