Sign up this week to bring your kid to work in Oakland

Registration for the much-anticipated Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTWD) 2026 opens on Wednesday, March 11. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 22.
TOKTWD is a national movement allowing students to explore career possibilities while learning more about their parent/guardian’s work and organization. Children in grades 1 through 12 are invited to participate!
Volunteers from several departments will provide a structured, interactive experience for children. Students will participate in grade-level cohorts, giving them an opportunity to make friends and explore UCOP with their peers.
The Oakland celebration will take place from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Registrations for UCPath are being handled internally.
Event capacity is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early to ensure your child’s place. If not already filled, registration will close on Wednesday, March 18.
