BRC’s ServiceNow system is up and running! Come to a training session to learn about it.

The Business Resource Center (BRC) is very pleased to announce that ServiceNow, our online intake and workflow system, is ready for all UCOP departments to use for purchase orders and payments. It will be expanded to include other BRC functional team requests later this fiscal year.
ServiceNow streamlines and standardizes the process for submitting requests to the BRC and allows clients to initiate, track and access their requests online at any time. Its benefits include:
- Electronic submission of requests
- All-electronic approval with automatic routing — approval only requires clicking on a link in an email
- Transparent process from start to finish
- New processing metrics and status reports
- Elimination of departmental logs and filing systems
- Requests may be monitored through ServiceNow
- Documentation and approvals are stored as permanent records in ServiceNow, allowing users to access historical information
