Reminder: Sign up for performance appraisal goal-setting sessions
If you haven’t attended one of the mid-year goal-setting and information sessions yet, please be sure to do so before they end on Dec. 15.
Some divisions have requested training specific to their organization while others are asking their staff to attend one of the open sessions being offered at a variety of times and locations. If you’re unsure of which type of session you should attend, please refer to your division’s communication or ask your supervisor/manager.
If you have been instructed to sign up for one of the open sessions being held through Dec. 15, please:
- Sign in to the UC Learning Center
- Search for Open Session
- Sign up for the date of “Open Session Staff Training 2016-17 Goal Setting” that you wish to attend
- Bring at least three goals you are working on to the session you attend
As was previously announced, this is the first step in a series of improvements being made to the performance appraisal process at UCOP. These initial sessions will focus on developing a mutual understanding of the performance management process, including the use of Halogen, and the importance of goal setting for all employees. Changes being made to this year’s process will be discussed and there will be ample time for questions.
For more information about the process, please visit the Performance Appraisal page.
If you have any questions, please contact your HR Business Partner or email UCOP Learning and Development.
I am telecommuting after knee surgery and cannot attend a class in person. I didn’t see any options for taking the class remotely. I emailed UCOPLearningandDevelopment@ucop.edu about this, but did not get a reply.
Unfortunately, a ReadyTalk option is not available for this training. Please reach out to your HR Business Partner to discuss your individual situation. The list of UCOP HR Business Partners can be found here:
