UC Health wins 2017 Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award

UC Health has won a 2017 Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award from the ECRI Institute. The prestigious award honors healthcare organizations that demonstrate excellence in balancing cost, quality and outcomes in their supply chain processes, and which adopt best practice solutions. UC Health was one of only 11 winners selected out of nearly 3,000 healthcare organizations nationwide.

“We applaud our winning organizations,” says Jennifer Myers, ECRI Institute’s vice president of SELECT health technology services, “for their industry-leading approaches to healthcare supply chain and value analysis.”

Each year, the Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award recognizes hospitals and health systems for their comprehensive and effective use of ECRI Institute’s PriceGuide™ and SELECTplus® supply and capital procurement advisory programs.

“In our review of potential candidates, we sought hospitals and healthcare systems that had exemplary use of ECRI Institute services and reflected a pattern that does not focus solely on cost, but equally weighs quality and outcomes in each procurement decision,” says Timothy Browne, director of ECRI Institute’s PriceGuide service.
