Colleague-recommended LinkedIn Learning courses
Technology Training and Communications Specialist Renea Davis-Leathers recommends Elearning Essentials: Instructional Design, taught by Samantha Calamari. “It covered large topics in just enough detail to be useful but not so much as to be difficult to absorb. Plus, I got a neato certificate!” she says. “I loved being able to speed up the pace of the video lesson. Most of them I watched at 1.5x speed which really cut down on fatigue.”
UC3 Senior Software Developer Terry Brady has been enjoying Ruby and Ruby on Rails courses taught by Kevin Skoglund. “The material was well designed and presented clearly. It was immediately applicable to my needs,” he says.
Program Specialist Ginger Hintz recommends The Courage Habit by getAbstract, Outlook: Working with Multiple Calendars by Jess Stratton and Managing Self-Doubt to Tackle Bigger Challenges by Pete Mockaitis. “These classes are right-sized, as far as time and valuable skills for work and personal life,” she says.
