Please take the UCOP Anti-Racism Task Force employee survey
The UCOP Anti-Racism Task Force invites all employees to share their thoughts towards becoming an anti-racist workplace by participating in an anonymous email survey.
This 15-minute survey was emailed to all UCOP employees last week from Willis Towers Watson, the firm that also manages our Employee Engagement Survey. The survey will ask you to help evaluate workplace behaviors and functions that are going well and those that require more attention. Results will be used to inform recommendations for making UCOP a more welcoming organization for all. Please take 15 minutes to complete the survey before November 10, 2020. If you did not receive the survey, please check your spam folder; if you cannot find it, email anti-racismtaskforce@ucop.edu for assistance.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to assist the Anti-Racism Task Force in creating a more inclusive workplace at UCOP. For more information about the task force, visit our website. If you have any questions regarding the survey, email anti-racismtaskforce@ucop.edu.
About the Anti-Racism Task Force
In June, President Emeritus Napolitano announced the creation of a UCOP Anti-Racism Task Force led by Cheryl Lloyd, interim vice president of Systemwide Human Resources, and Chief Risk Officer and Chief Diversity Officer Yvette Gullatt, vice president for Graduate and Undergraduate Affairs and vice provost for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
Our task force formed in July with 62 employees representing all divisions, the Office of the Secretary and Chief of Staff to the Regents, Academic Senate, Employee Engagement and Diversity Group and UCOP affinity groups. Work was divided into two stages with members focused on five key areas: hiring, recruitment, retention, promotion and workplace culture. In the first phase, which ended July 31, President Emeritus Napolitano shared perspectives on the current UCOP environment with President Drake. The second phase, which ends November 30, will provide President Drake with task force findings and recommendations.
