Continuing the Conversation on Race presents Beyond Either/Or

This Thursday, Feb. 18, UCOP will host the final course in this session of Continuing the Conversation on Race — Beyond Either/Or.
In this live online workshop, participants will explore answers to the following questions:
- How can we keep a focus on both Black racial equity and equity needs for other identities?
- What is challenging and helpful about expanding the focus of the equity conversation and how can we address that tension?
- What are the approaches that move us beyond “either/or” to “both/and”?
Beyond Either/Or will be led by Lisa D. Walker, M.A., a senior consultant with the Equity Consulting Group and former director of equity and inclusion at UC Berkeley. Walker has more than 20 years’ experience engaging groups in effective dialogue and training. Her expertise includes cultural fluency, implicit bias, equity, diversity and inclusion, team building and conflict and communication models.
