This Wednesday, April 21, all staff are invited join the OP Staff Assembly (OPSA) Steering Committee meeting to provide feedback on the UC Paid Leave for Family Care and Bonding.

On April 1, 2021, Nancy Pluzdrak, executive director of UCOP Human Resources, shared PPSM-2.210 (Absence from Work Policy) policy documents and proposed revisions with UCOP staff. Comments are due by April 24. OPSA plans to collate staff comments to share with the UCOP Human Resources team.

UC is proposing revisions to PPSM-2.210 (Absence from Work) – Pay for Family Care and Bonding, which applies to staff employees in the Professional & Support Staff, Managers & Senior Professionals, and Senior Management Group personnel groups. PPSM-2.210 has been updated to include language that describes the new Pay for Family Care and Bonding option, which will be implemented on July 1, 2021.
