Building Relationships and Managing Conflict
Dec. 1, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Knowing that we are valued and trusted team members — and helping our colleagues to feel the same way — is central to our job satisfaction and ability to consistently perform at a high level. Facilitated by highly rated trainer Raj Kapur, this workshop explores techniques to practice a mindset that positions you to make those important investments as well as how to navigate the natural and challenging conflicts that can develop with colleagues. You will learn practical tools for preventing and addressing conflict, in person and virtually, as you strive to continue making positive impacts with confidence and composure.
December 3Practice Circles (Live, on-site)
UCPath Center: Dec. 6, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Dec. 8, 1:30 – 3 p.m.
Oakland: Dec. 15, 2 – 3:30 p.m.
UCOP Human Resources and the Ombuds Office are holding 3Practice Circle sessions to facilitate dialogue between colleagues and help us connect as a community. A 3Practice Circle isn’t a debate, discussion or therapy group; it’s a safe space for clarity and understanding — with no obligation to agree — and an opportunity to exercise your listening and communication skills. December sessions will focus on the question, “This is what would change at UCOP/UCPath if my voice were heard.” Read more about 3Practice Circles, and see all upcoming sessions and topics.

For our December session, Callale Concon returns to share essential strategies to restore, rejuvenate and reset energy and motivation to meet your goals in the new year.
Creating Accessible PDFs
Dec. 14, 2 – 3 p.m.
IT Accessibility is about empowering users with disabilities to easily access and engage with online resources.
