Get your files in order: April is Records Management Month
April is Records and Information Management Month, which is timely, as many of us are adjusting our schedules to be at UCOP offices more frequently!
How to manage your department’s records
If you discover some records that you’re not sure what to do with — whether they should be kept, destroyed or sent off-site — refer to the retention schedule. This helpful, searchable database details when to keep or throw out records. If your records need to be retained, but can be sent off-site to Iron Mountain, Records Management can supply you with boxes.
Join Records Management for an open house
Records Management has planned activities to help celebrate the month and keep you organized.
On Wednesday, March 29, at 2 p.m. (PT), we will host a Welcome Back Open House via Zoom. This is a perfect time for you to get any questions about your records answered!
