New UC admissions and financial aid webinars for parents
The Graduate, Undergraduate and Equity Affairs Outreach and Educational Partnerships team has just announced new webinars, open to the public, that are designed to help parents learn about and better understand the UC admissions process and various pathways into the university. UCOP parents are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Introduction to UC – In Spanish
Nov. 1, 6 – 7 p.m.
This webinar will be presented in Spanish and is designed to help students and their families learn more about the University of California. Bilingual presenters will provide an overview of university admission requirements for high school and community college applicants, financial aid resources, and resources for participants to find more information. Come get your questions answered!
Financial Aid for High School Students and Families
Nov. 4, 10 – 11 a.m.
High school students and families interested in the University of California (UC) will learn how to pay for a UC education.
Lunch & Learn – A Parental Guide to the University of California
Nov. 6, 12 – 1:30 p.m.
Whether you’re a parent, auntie or family friend, helping students prepare for college is a collective effort. This session is designed to help families explore the University of California system. We will provide an overview of admission requirements for high school and transfer applicants, on-campus housing options and tools to find additional resources and information. Admissions representatives from all nine undergraduate campuses will help you learn the unique qualities of each location. Come get your questions answered!
