On May 28, join APISA for the screening of a documentary film exploring the incarceration of Japanese-Americans during World War II. A panel discussion featuring someone who was interned will connect that tumultuous political climate to the struggle of immigrants today.

View a special screening of “And Then They Came For Us,” a documentary film that explores the forced incarceration of Japanese-Americans during World War II. Academic and local nonprofit experts will lead a rousing discussion about the resounding effects of Japanese internment today.

Taught by a Filipino martial arts expert, an April 11 safety workshop gave UCOP staff a chance to learn critical self-protection strategies in a casual, judgment-free setting with fellow colleagues.
