Whether showcasing a University of California campus or starring a UC alum, the movie world has long loved UC. In honor of Oscars season, here are some of our favorite moments of UC caught on film, and the prizes we think they should receive.

Throughout February, the Black Staff and Faculty Organization are collecting new and gently used ties through their partnership with All Tied Up, a special nonprofit that teaches leadership, self-respect and empathy to young men of color — all through the basic skill of tying a tie.
