UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) launches newsletter
UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) has launched a new monthly newsletter, Connected, to highlight the important work they do.
UC ANR staff members are problem-solvers, catalysts, collaborators, educators and stewards of the land, living in the communities they serve. UC ANR’s focus on applied research and the practical extension of science-based information to every county in California is unique within the UC system. For many parts of California, UC ANR is “the face of UC.”
The first issue of Connected addresses a variety of topics, such as the fourth annual “FOOD IT: Fork to Farm” event, which focuses on the role of information technology in the food system; working with wild horses and water controversies in rural California; and how UC nutrition research has uncovered links between energy drinks and obesity.
