Berkeley Outpatient Center opens with UCSF Health and John Muir Health providers
UCOP employees who live in or near Berkeley have a new option for receiving primary or specialty care – the Berkeley Outpatient Center, a joint venture of UCSF Health and John Muir Health.
The center, which opened this month at 3100 San Pablo Ave., offers primary care, urgent care, lab and imaging services, and a full range of UCSF and John Muir Health specialists (some available now and some to be added in the coming months).
The Berkeley Outpatient Center accepts most of UC’s health insurance plans, including Health Net Blue & Gold, Core, UC Care and UC Health Savings Plan. More information can be found at johnmuirhealth.com/berkeley by clicking on the accepted insurance icon.
Visit the Berkeley Outpatient Center website for details about operating hours, providers and options for getting to the center.
Considerations for Health Net Blue & Gold members
Health Net Blue & Gold members can receive primary care at the Berkeley Outpatient Center if your primary care provider is part of John Muir Medical Group. If you want to change your medical group to John Muir Medical Group (to establish primary care), call Health Net directly before scheduling an appointment. You also can receive specialty care, and ancillary services including lab and radiology, if you are a Health Net Blue & Gold member enrolled in Canopy Health (your primary care provider is part of Hill Physicians Medical Group – San Francisco, John Muir Medical Group, or Meritage Medical Group).
