UnifyHR takes over as administrator of family member eligibility verification
UC requires all faculty, staff and retirees who enroll family members in their medical, dental and/or vision insurance plans to provide documentation to verify their family members’ eligibility for coverage.
Starting Feb. 1, 2019, UnifyHR will replace Secova, Inc. in administering this verification process. UC selected UnifyHR after a thorough review of their experience and capabilities.
Newly hired employees and employees and retirees who enrolled new family members during Open Enrollment will receive a packet of materials from UnifyHR to help them complete the verification process. Communications from UnifyHR will feature the following logo:
Recipients must respond by the deadline shown on their letter or they risk disenrollment of their family members from UC benefits.
