Box Drive: UCOP’s new storage solution
At UCOP, we currently use Box Sync to store documents securely on the cloud. But later this month we’ll be moving to Box Drive — a new product that allows easy file access right from your desktop for easy automatic storage to the cloud.
Box Drive is a simple way to work with all of your files right from your desktop, taking up very little hard drive space. Once it’s installed, you’ll use your Windows Explorer or Mac Finder to locate every file you need, edit it like you would any local file and save it automatically to the cloud. It also has new functionality that will allow you to access and search all your files saved in Box.
