Learn healthy recipes with PACSW
Want to keep that New Year’s resolution to eat healthier?
On Thursday, Feb. 13, join the President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW) for a lunchtime healthy cooking demonstration with Kim Guess, wellness program dietitian at UC Berkeley.
Many of us know that nuts are healthy — and have incorporated more of them into our diets. Less well-known is that seeds are also nutrition powerhouses that can be used to make fun and interesting food. During this event, we’ll learn recipes that use seeds to make a salad dressing, a snack and a treat! Samples will be provided.
Following the cooking demonstration, guests will have an opportunity to get nutrition questions answered by Kim.
Register now — this demo is limited to 30 people.
