Managers’ Corner: Learn to develop yourself and your people

Calling all people managers: Mark your calendar for the next People Leaders Forum, taking place Friday, July 16, from 1-2 p.m. (PT). Register now.
The theme for this month’s session is “Developing yourself and your people: How to get better at what you care about.”
UCOP Learning and Development will share the many local and systemwide professional development opportunities available to UCOP staff. Plus, you’ll have an opportunity to connect with people managers across all UCOP locations to develop leadership skills, build community, share best practices, swap strategies for navigating current challenges and learn to better support yourself and your team.
Participants ranked the last People Leaders Forum as 4.7 of 5. “It was focused on concrete issues, with a space to talk about strategies, but without pretending that everything has a solution,” shared one manager.
