Microsoft Excel Macros
Feb. 25, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Register by Feb. 21)
Learn what Macros are really about, how they work behind the scenes and how they can help you add functionality to your Excel workbooks. This workshop will provide an overview of Macros and step-by-step demonstrations for using them.

Microsoft Excel Techniques
March 9, 10 – 11:30 a.m. (Register by March 4)
Take your Microsoft Excel skills to the next level! In this workshop, you’ll learn powerful techniques to save significant time, analyze data and extract important business insights, present information in a compelling way and more effectively collaborate with others.

Box Advanced

Want to know how to securely store sensitive data in Box? Interested in how to get data into Box via email or URL? Sign up for this advanced Box class and we will cover a wide range of topics including setting up alerts to monitor folders and using Box groups to manage department collaborations.

Microsoft One Note Techniques
March 17, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Register by March 13)
Get a firm understanding of OneNote’s features and capabilities, and how to use them efficiently. This course will explore time-saving techniques like searching, taking screen clippings and using templates to increase productivity.

Zoom Essentials
March 24, 9 – 10 a.m.
Learn the basics of Zoom: Resources and support, desktop applications, account web portal, configuration settings, scheduling and hosting meetings, meeting controls and basic troubleshooting.

Mindfulness at UCOP
March 4, 10 – 11 a.m.
Learn how to reduce stress and increase your effectiveness at work through simple mindfulness techniques.

Inclusive Hybrid and Virtual Meetings
March 16, 1 – 2 p.m.
Inclusive meetings lead to a climate of openness as well as greater teamwork and decision ownership. This workshop features techniques to facilitate virtual and hybrid meetings that include all voices and engage your participants. Topics include meeting structures that foster engagement, tailoring engagement strategies for participants and objectives and best practices for hybrid and remote meetings.

The Science of Managing Stress
March 23, 2 – 3 p.m.
Job stress, especially as we are slowly returning to the office, can feel overwhelming. Learn about the science of the stress cycle, how to keep perspective and a variety of strategies that promote well-being. Past participants have rated this class 4.9 out of 5.

Design Thinking to Focus, Collaborate, and Play!
March 29, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Register by March 24)
If you’ve you been curious about design thinking, this is the class for you! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll get an overview of the design-thinking process and leave equipped with key concepts and techniques that you can apply right away.

People Leader Forum – Returning to the Office Conversations
March 11, 1 – 2 p.m.
Monthly People Leader Forums provide an opportunity for people managers and supervisors to connect with one another to develop leadership skills, build community, share best practices, swap strategies for navigating current challenges and learn to better support themselves and their teams. In March, UCOP Ombudsperson Callale Concon will share strategies to support employees through change.  

Remarkable Hybrid Manager: Leading and Managing the Whole Self
March 18, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Register by March 15)
The hybrid workplace brings a whole new set of challenges, requiring adaptability, flexibility and adjustments to work habits and behaviors. This impacts the practical aspects of work, as well as emotional and well-being aspects. In this highly interactive online live workshop, we’ll help managers and supervisors tackle hybrid work challenges and identify new opportunities.
