Oakland paid parking program began Aug. 1; free parking has ended
The following message was sent to all UCOP employees on July 26, 2022:
Dear Oakland-based colleagues,
This is a reminder that the Oakland paid parking program for the UCOP-managed garages will be reinstated on August 1, 2022. All enrolled participants have been notified with instructions to pick up their parking access card at the Work Management Center in the Franklin building lobby.
Only those with parking access cards will be able to enter the garage. If you are not enrolled in the paid parking program, you will not be able to park in the Franklin garage.
Instructions on enrolling for future parking access are available on the Parking Information & Enrollment webpage. Select the UCOP PARKING POLICY & PROCEDURES (pdf) link for the enrollment form and Parking Participant Contract.
