BASC brings UCSF Facilities Services onboard to provide custodial services in Oakland

On Sept. 1, 2022, the Building and Administrative Services Center (BASC) brought UC San Francisco Facilities Services on board as the new custodial service provider for the Oakland Franklin building and the UCOP floors 3-10 and the Broadway Conference Center in the Broadway building.
With this change, we’re moving to a new daytime cleaning model in which we provide cleaning services and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces at least once daily during the weekdays between 5 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. This change will help UCOP contain costs and enhance our cleaning services.
As UCSF Facilities Services works to fully staff to meet our needs, we ask for your patience and understanding. Right now, the focus will be on the daily servicing of kitchens, breakrooms, restrooms, offices and cubes. If the trash bins in your workstation ever become too full, you may empty them into the central breakroom trash receptacles.
