Open Enrollment is here!
Open Enrollment has begun — your opportunity to enroll in or make changes to your benefits — with a deadline of 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18. In 2023, UC will continue to offer the same benefit plans for faculty and staff. However, there are some important changes next year — including new resources to support you, enhanced benefits, and changes in monthly premiums — so take the time to understand your options.
To help you take control of your health, UC is offering more resources than ever to help.
ALEX: Your personal benefits counselor
ALEX — available 24/7 on your computer, phone or tablet — is a fun and friendly guide that gets to know you, so you get just the information you need and understand all your options.
ALEX can help you determine which plan is best for you — considering factors like how much medical care you usually need, who you plan to cover, and whether you or any of your family members live or study outside California.

Open Enrollment website and Systemwide Benefits Fair
Until Open Enrollment closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2022, you have 24/7 access to online resources from UC and our benefits partners.
UC’s Open Enrollment website (ucal.us/oe) gives an overview of 2023 changes, choices and costs, with links to UCnet for details and to UCPath when you’re ready to enroll.
At UC’s virtual Benefits Fair — available in English and Spanish — you can visit booths sponsored by UC locations and benefit plans, connect with plan representatives and more.
