Learn how to connect with Link
Link is your UCOP news — a resource for information about local and systemwide updates, upcoming events, professional development classes and workshops, and opportunities to connect with exceptional colleagues.
Here’s how to connect with Link
Read Link articles online
All Link articles that are sent in our Tuesday newsletter are available on the Link blog site. If you missed a week or are searching for an older article, use our handy search tool or history tabs on the homepage.
Check out the Link calendar — or submit your own listing
Submit an article
Are you planning a special activity or event, or working on a project that all UCOP colleagues should know about? Send your requested article to our editorial team for consideration. Learn how to submit an article.
Meet your colleagues through 10-Second Bios
If you’re new to UCOP and hoping to get your name out there, consider introducing yourself through a 10-Second Bio. It’s easy to submit a bio — here’s how. You can also read past 10-Second Bios to learn more about your colleagues.
Say “thanks” by giving a Shout-Out
Has one of your colleagues or employees gone above and beyond? Sing their praises by taking a few moments to submit a Shout-Out on their behalf.
Oakland digital signage
Aside from conference room content, the digital signage system (DSS) in the Oakland Franklin and Broadway buildings is also managed by our Link team. Event submissions are automatically included for consideration with no additional work needed on your part. One quick tip: The DSS fills quickly so we suggest submitting events at least three weeks in advance if you’re hoping for DSS promotion. Learn more about the DSS.
Have questions? Let us know! The Link editorial team is always happy to provide more information about how we can help promote your news. You can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We also recommend checking out the UCOP Guide to Internal Promotions.Tags: FAQ, Link
