This Friday, Feb. 9, from 1 – 2 p.m. (PT), the UCOP EDI and Anti-Racism Advisory Group will present an overview of UCOP’s new Unified EDI and Anti-Racism Framework, which was first introduced during the July 2023 UCOP EDI and Anti-Racism Town Hall.

Aligned with the UCOP Strategic Framework, our EDI framework emphasizes unity across our organization. It outlines a set of common goals that we will pursue, together, to help UCOP move toward becoming an anti-racist workplace. The plan is designed with flexibility in mind to accommodate additional needs that may arise over time.

During the February town hall, advisory group members will share:

• An overview of the framework, including its primary goals and how they were developed
• Plans for integrating framework goals and concepts into our work throughout UCOP
• How staff at all levels will play an important role in the framework’s success

The recording and presentation will be shared in an upcoming Link article, for those who cannot attend live.
