Take Our Kids to Work Day is April 24

We are excited to host Take Our Kids to Work Day (TOKTWD) in Oakland and the UCPath Center next Wednesday, April 24!

Take Our Kids to Work Day is a national movement that allows students to explore career possibilities while learning more about their parents’ work and organization. At this longstanding and beloved staff event — the first since the COVID-19 pandemic — we will welcome colleagues’ children to experience an interactive day at UCOP.

What should I expect?

Volunteers from several departments have organized a structured and interactive experience for children. Students will participate in grade-level cohorts, giving them an opportunity to make friends and explore UCOP with their peers.
