This month, you may notice some activity as moving operations commence for UCOP’s newest tenant. We are pleased to announce that UCSF’s University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) department will soon join us in Oakland. The UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Foundation team is a part of UDAR at UCSF. The team raises funds for children’s health at UCSF, providing support for both Oakland and San Francisco children’s hospitals.

This move is driven by UDAR’s East Bay office location needing to meet UC seismic standards, and UCOP has offered to lease them space. They will begin moving in May 23 with the full team working on-site in early June.

Our UCSF colleagues will be located on the 9^th floor of the Franklin building. Please extend a warm welcome to our new colleagues when you see them around the office. We look forward to having our campus colleagues advance UC’s vision here with us in Oakland.
