Reminder: Take the UCOP Staff@Work engagement survey
The first-ever UCOP Staff@Work engagement survey is underway. Sponsored by the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and UCOP Operations departments, the survey is your chance to shape the future of our workplace by sharing your thoughts and experiences of working at UCOP. Please participate in the anonymous survey and make your voice heard!*
Thank you to the 28% of UCOP staff who have already provided feedback. If you have not yet completed the survey, please take a few minutes to share your thoughts on what UCOP is doing well and where we can improve.
Everyone’s feedback is instrumental to our efforts to enhance the UCOP employee experience. A high participation rate will help us obtain more diverse perspectives and make more meaningful improvements. Please complete the survey by Friday, August 2, 2024.
* Please note that ANR-affiliated employees will not be asked to participate in this survey.
Top 6 things to know about the Staff@Work Survey
How do I take the survey?
Check your inbox for a July 9 email from StaffatWork@UCOP.edu, which came from our survey partner, Tritonlytics, a survey consulting group at UC San Diego. This email contains instructions, unique survey link and your security password. If you did not receive this email, check your junk mail folder. For additional questions, contact staffatwork@ucop.edu.
Please do not delete the survey email until you have provided feedback. The unique link and passcode provided in your email are the only way to access the survey. They cannot be replaced.
If you don’t have time to complete the survey in one sitting, select the “Finish Later” button at the bottom of the page at any time. When you’re ready to return, use your unique link to start where you left off.
Please note: Once you submit the survey, you cannot return to make any changes.
How long will it take to complete the survey?
The survey takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Will my manager, supervisor or leader be able to see my survey responses?
No. Tritonlytics has sole access to individual responses. The reports provided to UCOP will only contain aggregated data.
How are you protecting my security and anonymity?
Each survey link is unique to ensure anonymity, and only Tritonlytics will have access to the raw survey data. In addition, we have taken the following steps:
- Your name and email address are used strictly for sending survey invitations and reminders and are only accessible to survey administration staff.
- Tritonlytics separates participants’ emails from their security passcodes to prevent survey administrators from linking responses to individuals. The email invitation is the only record correlating an individual with their security passcode.
- Security passcodes are assigned randomly, eliminating the possibility that an individual’s response could be identified based on alphabetical or other orders.
- Respondent IP addresses, email addresses and other identity-related data are not logged or stored (i.e., no cookies).
- A secure SSL certificate is used for all online survey activity.
- Your uniquely generated link and security passcode ensure that no one can respond using your name.
How can I help protect the anonymity of my survey responses?
Do not share your email, unique link or security passcode with others.
Why am I asked to provide demographic information?
The survey includes an opportunity for respondents to self-identify with several demographic categories to help measure how our workplace supports diverse employee groups. (You can choose to anonymously self-identify.)
