Last chance: Open Enrollment ends this Friday, Nov. 22

If you’ve waited to elect your 2025 benefits, delay no more! Open Enrollment for 2025 benefits ends this Friday, Nov. 22 at 5 p.m. (PT).

Some significant changes — including rising costs — make it important to review your options so you can choose the benefits that are right for you and your family.

Important things to note:

  • If you do not make changes to your benefits during Open Enrollment, you will automatically be enrolled in the same medical and dental plans as the current year. But monthly costs are rising, so you should check to make sure you are still in the best plan for your situation.
  • The CORE PPO plan will require a premium contribution in 2025 (starting at $25.91 a month for self-coverage). For other plans, employees with annual salaries up to $140K a year will see 9% increases in their monthly premiums and employees with annual salaries over $140K a year will see 11% increases.
  • For some benefits — including HSA and FSA deductions — you must re-enroll every year. Please make sure to review and set your deductions appropriately.
  • Open Enrollment is your only opportunity to elect and make changes to many 2025 benefits, unless you have a qualifying life event.

You can find details about this year’s choices, changes and costs in this UCnet article and on the Open Enrollment website.

For additional assistance with Open Enrollment, including complicated situations, you can make a confidential appointment with UCOP Health Care Facilitator Sharon Adesokan.
