Write Right
March 25 and April 1, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (PT)
This foundational two-session course provides the basics of grammar and writing clearly. Participants learn key characteristics of good writers and practice those skills in the session. They also learn the current best practices in business writing.

Delivery Skills for Connecting With Your Audience
April 18, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (PT)
Public speaking and giving formal and informal presentations can be uncomfortable and daunting for many people. Luckily, delivery skills can be practiced and improved on with each presentation. This session will focus on identifying anxieties about presenting and how to prepare for them, explore different presentation styles and techniques to engage with your audience, and tips and tricks to making your next presentation a success! This session will be interactive and participants are asked to bring a recent presentation, outline or presentation idea to practice.

Making Connections in a Hybrid World
April 23, 1 – 2:30 p.m. (PT)
Connection is a crucial component in building engagement, and a productive and efficient workplace. It is widely noted that when people feel connected, healthy working relationships that foster collaboration improve. Come to this interactive workshop to experience and learn some of the tools and techniques that can support connection in this remote and hybrid world. And bring your ideas as well.

UCOP Creating Accessible Documents
April 24, 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Digital accessibility is about ensuring users with disabilities can easily access and engage with any digital content. In this course, you will learn the principles of digital accessibility, how to generate accessible Microsoft Office Documents and how to export these to PDF.
