On Tuesday, June 10, from 12 – 1 p.m. (PT), the University of California invites you to a systemwide faculty panel discussion on Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) — a class of cybersecurity software designed to monitor, detect and respond to threats. Join us for this special event, during which we’ll address questions and concerns related to the implementation of EDR at UC, including its intersections with academic work, research and privacy.

We’re honored to host a panel of UC faculty experts who will bring deep technical knowledge and an academic lens to the discussion. The panelists will speak to community concerns about EDR and the academic mission, including research practices and intellectual freedom.
