Coming soon: A new Zoom Web experience

On Aug. 26, 2026, Zoom will introduce its new Zoom Web experience, designed to make the website portal easier to navigate and provide faster access to commonly used features and settings.

Although the web portal will look different, your existing Zoom account and services will remain available. The primary change is how features and settings will be organized when you sign in to Zoom through a web browser.

What will look different?

Redesigned Zoom home page

A cleaner, simplified layout will more closely resemble the Zoom desktop application. You’ll continue to have quick access to common actions such as starting, joining or scheduling meetings.

New Zoom product navigation

The current left-side navigation panel will be replaced by a product menu (waffle icon) on the upper-right corner of the page, which you’ll use to access all Zoom products. Selecting a product will open it in a new browser tab. You can also drag and drop items in the menu to arrange them in the order that works best for you.

New profile menu

Your profile menu, located in the upper-right corner next to the product menu, will provide access to your personal account options. Select my account to manage your personal Zoom information and settings.

Where did my settings go?

Many Zoom features will be available under my account, rather than in the left navigation menu:

  • Profile: Manage your personal information, including your name and profile picture.
  • Settings: Manage Zoom features and preferences.
  • Recordings and transcripts: Access cloud recordings, shared recordings, computer recordings and transcripts.
  • Summaries: Access your Zoom AI Companion meeting summaries and summaries shared with you.
  • Personal contacts: Manage your Zoom contacts.
  • Personal devices: Manage devices associated with your account.
  • Reports: Access reports available based on your Zoom permissions.

Note: Some settings will continue to be managed centrally by UCOP.

What do I need to do?

No action is required.

When you begin to use the new Zoom Web experience, keep this key navigation top of mind:

  • Home→ Start, join, or schedule meetings
  • Waffle menu→ Access your Zoom products and services
  • Profile My account→ Access your personal settings, recordings, summaries, contacts, and other account options

Thank you,
Telecommunications Team
