Open Enrollment, the annual period to review and change your benefits, runs from 8 a.m. (PT) on Thursday, Oct. 29, to 5 p.m. (PT) on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026.

Although you’ll have the same medical, dental and vision plans to choose from, with no changes to carriers or plan administrators, some premiums and plan costs will change in 2027.

CUCSA Open Enrollment virtual town hall

On Oct. 26 at 11:30 a.m. (PT), join the Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) for a virtual systemwide town hall on the 2027 Open Enrollment.

Several members of the UC Systemwide Human Resources Benefits Programs and Strategy Team — UCOP colleagues — will share an Open Enrollment overview, including updates on important changes to this year’s benefits offerings. On Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., come to the Broadway Conference Center in Oakland to explore your benefits options in person. Event highlights will include:

• Open Enrollment updates – Learn about the latest changes and options for your 2027 UC benefits
• Plan partner representatives – Connect directly with representatives from UC’s health and welfare plans
• Giveaways and swag – Take home exclusive items with fun giveaways from our plan partners (while supplies last)
• Retirement Administrative Service Center– Speak with RASC team members about retiree insurance options
• UCOP Health Care Facilitator – Meet your dedicated, confidential resource for navigating UC health plans and the healthcare system
• Complimentary Refreshments – Enjoy light snacks and beverages during the event (while supplies last)
• Prize Drawing – Sign in during the event for a chance to win a prize! (Winners must be able to pick up their prize in the Oakland UCOP office; delivery is not available.)
