Box Fundamentals
Aug. 21 or Sept. 25, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Get an overview of Box Drive. IT administrators will be on hand to answer questions and review key features.

Accessibility

Accessible Websites in Cascade
Aug. 18 or Sept. 22, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Develop a functional understanding of web accessibility practices as they pertain to working within the Cascade content management system. Learn to produce accessible content and remedy common accessibility violations.

Cascade Accessibility Workflow
Sept. 15, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Learn about the accessibility review process in the Cascade content management system. The basics of web accessibility will be covered, with an emphasis on producing accessible web content for the UCOP website.

Creating Accessible PDFs
Sept. 29, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
IT Accessibility is about empowering users with disabilities to easily access and engage with online resources. Many of these resources, such as tax forms, annual reports or policy documents, are PDFs. We will cover how to create accessible Word documents, which can be easily converted into accessible PDFs, and identify basic accessibility issues using Adobe’s accessibility checker.
