The final free Zumba class being offered by WorkFit to close the fall session will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 4:45 pm in Lobby One Conference Room. WorkFit's 2012 schedule will be announced early next year.

On Dec. 2, UC President Mark Yudof spoke to the California Chamber of Commerce Board in San Francisco regarding misconceptions about the University of California. He titled his talk "A Baker's Dozen Myths about Higher Education."
UC announced on Monday, Dec. 12, that it has finalized a five-year agreement with the Coalition of University Employees on wages, benefits and other issues for more than 12,500 clerical staff.

For tax year 2012, IRS pre-tax limits will change for qualified parking expenses from $230 to $240 per month and for qualified transit passes and vanpooling expenses from $230 to $125 per month.
